Technical Assistance II
The ARISE+ Indonesia Technical Assistance (TA) II will be conducting extensive consultations with the Ministry of Trade (MoT) to discuss priorities in the two areas of Trade in Services and Non-Tariff Measures to design relevant technical assistance interventions.
Sets of training will be conducted with the objectives to build the capacity of MoT officers to conduct trade in services-related analyses, develop impact analysis on NTMs and set up an institutional framework.
Six sectors specific studies related to Trade in Services will also be conducted under the aegis of the MoT to identify the constraints that make Indonesian export uncompetitive and hamper its ability to contribute to export growth/performance effectively.
The activities will be implemented in collaboration with experts from International Economic Consulting, who have substantial experience in Trade in Services and Non-Tariff Measures in Indonesia and the ASEAN region.
