Technical Assistance I
ARISE+ Indonesia, under the aegis of the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP) of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights and in collaboration with the Directorate General of National Export Development of the Ministry of Trade, continues to support the promotion and branding of Indonesian Geographical Indications (GIs). In 2021, a National Branding Strategy for the Geographical Indications of Indonesia was developed together with Key Opinion Leaders in the branding and food industry, such as Chef Bara Pattiradjawane, Chef Ragil Imam Wibowo, Helianti Hilman, Vita Datau, Santhi Serad, and Arto Biantoro.
The final branding strategy document will be discussed in a creative group discussion alongside three culinary experts who will present the narratives on the branding story of the GI products and serve special dishes to enable the taste experience of GI-certified agrifood.
The workshop aims to build a shared understanding amongst the stakeholders to continue building Indonesian Geographical Indications branding to achieve the future vision.
The event will also serve as an opportunity to disseminate the revamped national GI logo and hand over the GI promotional microsite globalgi.id to beneficiaries will also be conducted at this event.
