ARISE+ Indonesia will host three focus group discussions (FGDs) to review the current logo of Indonesia's Geographical Indication (GI). The objective of the FGD is to get input and suggestion from various key stakeholders, namely ministries and state agencies, Indonesian GI producers or MPIG (GI Protection Society) as well as retailers and traders. It is hoped that the FGD can provide information that can be used as a guide for the creative team to make improvements or develop the official logo of the Indonesian geographical indications.

 

Session A : FGD on GI Logo with Ministries and state agencies
Day/Date : Monday, 9 November 2020
Time : 10 AM - 11 AM WIB
Participants : approx. 8 people consisting of Directorate of Industry, Tourism and Creative Economy (Ministry of National Development Planning/BAPPENAS), Directorate General of National Export Development (Ministry of Trade), Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Forestry and Environment, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Industry.

Session B : FGD on GI Logo with Indonesian GI producers or MPIG
Day/Date : Monday, 9 November 2020
Time : 1 PM - 2 PM WIB
Participants : approx. 10 people representing the following MPIG: Sumbawa Honey, East Luwu Pepper, Kulonprogo Jogja Coconut Sugar, Koerintji Cinnamon, Siaw Nutmeg, Bali Amed Salt, Adan Krayan Rice and Alor Islands Vanilla.

Session C : FGD on GI Logo with Retailers and Trades
Day/Date : Monday, 9 November 2020
Time : 4 PM - 5 PM WIB
Participants : approx. 7 people representing Garuda Indonesia, Javara, Ranch Market/Farmers Market, Ayuputumei Bali, Kemchik, and Lokassa.
