Explore European gastronomy and learn about the Geographical Indication (GI) products on the Cooking Ambassadors show produced by ARISE+ Indonesia under the aegis of the Directorate General of Intellectual Property in the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, and the Directorate General of National Export Development in the Ministry of Trade.
The Indonesian celebrity chefs Bara Pattiradjawane, Imam Ragil Wibowo, and food columnist Santhi Serad will host the show. Attended as Special Guests are the Hungary Ambassador to Indonesia, H.E Judith Pach; the EU Ambassador to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam, H.E. Vincent Piket; and the Poland Chargé d'Affaires, Mr Piotr Firlus. They will present simple European dishes using the Indonesian GI products as the ingredients.
The Cooking Ambassadors will be screened during the celebration of Europe Day on the EU social media platforms, from 7-9 May 2021 at 12:00 pm (Western Indonesian Time).
Currently, Indonesia has 90 registered GI products. The majority of them are agricultural products, such as single-origin coffees, tea, specialty spices, salts and peppercorns, rice, coconut sugars, and forest honey.
The Cooking Ambassadors show aims to promote GI products.
