The Trade Expo Indonesia is hosted annually by the Ministry of Trade in cooperation with other key government stakeholders for investment, trade and tourism. In collaboration with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights and ARISE+ Indonesia, the Ministry of Trade organised a webinar tagged "Specialty Food Ingredients: Sourcing, Labelling and Opportunity in Exporting #IndikasiGeografisIndonesia" as part of the Trade Expo Indonesia.
Bali Amed Salt, Kulon Progo Coconut Sugar, and East Luwu Pepper will be featured in the webinar promoting Indonesian agricultural Specialty Food Ingredients to traders, exporters, and international buyers.
The webinar will also be discussing several topics, including the registration, protection and promotion of Geographical Indication (GI) products, best practices of GI in the food and beverages industry in the European Union, presentation of a study on the readiness of Indonesian GI products, the role of GI as a brand and requirements to apply the Indonesian GI label for trading purposes, the role of Indonesian Trade Attaché, and the role of marketplace platform in supporting local products.
