Australia's prodigious use of anti-dumping and countervailing measures is well documented. In 2019, Australia was the fifth most frequent user of trade remedy measures against Indonesia. Investigations have targeted a range of Indonesian industries, from steel fabricators and paper mills to power transformer manufacturers.
The purpose of this event is to give the Indonesian industry and government a clear understanding of Australian trade remedy laws, policies, practices, procedures, and investigation requirements, to enable them to respond more effectively to trade remedy investigations initiated by Australia.
