The holistic implementation of risk management by all border agencies is a key priority of the Government of Indonesia. Currently, only Indonesian Customs has implemented a risk management system. Many regulatory agencies, including BPOM, do not make a clear differentiation between high and low-risk consignments, resulting in high costs and delays for the private sector and inefficient use of enforcement resources for the public sector.

The workshop aims to strengthen the capacity of BPOM in risk identification, risk management focusing on high-risk concealment and commodities according to the WCO relevant standard and best practice.

Date: Friday, 29 October 2021
Time: 13.30 – 17.00
