Connecting GI producers with domestic buyers and consumers through the retail sector
The aim of this workshop is to facilitate business linkages between GI producers and potential domestic buyers and consumers. The involvement of retail businesses such as supermarkets in playing a more important role in promoting and selling the GI products will be explored. The workshop will be led by the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP), Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP – the Ministry of Law and Human Rights), Directorate General for National Export Development (DGNED - the Ministry of Trade), Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, BAPPENAS, private sector, MPIGs (especially GI product categories for dried spices, salt and rice), and MPIG for other GI product categories such as tea and coffee, and members of Creative Branding Workshop (CBW) working group (mainly chefs and culinary experts).
