The Directorate of Trade Defense (DPP) at the Ministry of Trade, in collaboration with ARISE+ Indonesia, developed a tool to standardise the calculation of the margin of injury. Designed to ensure calculation consistency and efficiency, the tool supports trade investigators at the DPP, the Indonesian Anti-Dumping Committee (KADI), and the Indonesian Safeguards Committee (KPPI). Training sessions were organised to equip trade investigators and analysts with the skills to use this tool effectively. The development of this tool and the accompanying capacity-building programme aim to enhance the skills and capabilities of trade investigators, thereby strengthening Indonesia's ability to protect its exporters during trade remedy investigations initiated by other countries.
