Technical Assistance II
Demand for ethically-sourced products continues growing across the globe. As the continuation of the spices export sensitisation seminar last August, the Ministry of Trade (MoT) and the Ministry of Industry (MoI), in collaboration with ARISE+ Indonesia, organise the capacity-building workshop on Fair Trade Certification, especially in spices products.
The workshop will be delivered in two batches. The first batch targets the functional officers in the Directorate of Primary Products Export Development, the Directorate of Standard and Quality Control, and the private sector. The second batch will target the Ministry of Industry and BSN functional officers.
The workshop aims to help Indonesian spices entrepreneurs meet export quality requirements, especially compliance with Fair Trade certification.
The workshop is also expected to equip government officials and the private sector with better knowledge and skills for developing food safety and sustainability management systems.
