Technical Assistance I

Ten selected Indonesian Geographical Indication (GI) products will be displayed at the GI Corner in the Pangan Nusa section at the 37th Trade Expo Indonesia 2022. The GI participation in the biggest B2B international exhibition is facilitated by ARISE+ Indonesia under the aegis of the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP) in the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, in collaboration with the Directorate General of National Export Development in the Ministry of trade.

GI products promotion in the trade promotional events aims to raise awareness of Indonesian GI products and foster better linkages to the market and potential buyers/consumers.

The promotional campaign will synergise with the ongoing GI awareness-raising initiative, Indonesian GI Show (IGIS) 2022 (, and implement a marketing plan according to GI Branding Strategy recommendations built on the ARISE+ Indonesia programme.

The GI products featured in the GI Corner at the 37th TEI 2022 include Amed Bali Salt, Kulon Progo Jogja Coconut Sugar, Gayo Arabica Coffee, Java Preanger Tea, Sumbawa Honey, Muntok White Pepper, East Luwu Pepper, Siaw Nutmeg, Moloku Kie Raha Cloves, and Minahasa Cloves.
