Support to Enhance Quality Desk Research, Knowledge of and Access to Information and Data on Non-Tariff Measures
The activity is to strengthen the capacity of relevant institutions involved in trade policy in developing policies and strategies to address non-tariff measures (NTM) to optimize benefits from international trade, especially in the context of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) with the European Union (EU).
Three training courses are foreseen which are expected to:
- Improve knowledge on the various types of NTMs and how they affect trade and the economy
- Enhance capacity of researchers on data collection and impact analysis on trade and on monitoring trade arrangements
- Contribute to the preparation of CEPA negotiating positions
All online training is hosted by Directorate General of International Trade Negotiations, Ministry of Trade.
