Technical Asssistance II
National Standardization Agency of Indonesia (BSN) and National Accreditation Committee (KAN), with technical support from ARISE+ Indonesia, will conduct training on ISO/IEC 17034: General Requirements for the Competence of Reference Material Producers (RMP). Reference materials (RMs) are used in all stages of the measurement process, including for method validation, calibration and quality control. They are also used in interlaboratory comparisons for method validation and for assessing laboratory proficiency.
The training aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of technical assessors of KAN and reference material providers candidates. In addition, ARISE+ Indonesia will also conduct a seminar to create awareness and interest in becoming RMP and a joint assessment with EU experts to equip technical assessors of KAN to learn how to assess the RMP efficiently and effectively. The training and joint assessment will also allow KAN to offer accreditation services for reference material providers (RMP).
