Technical Assistance I
Trade Policy Analysis and Development Agency (TREDA) in the Ministry of Trade, with technical support from ARISE+ Indonesia, will hold a series of workshops to enhance institutional capacity to implement a socio-economic trade remedy policy framework in Indonesia.
The first workshop is a one-day workshop on an online platform for officials from the MoT and other relevant ministries for MoT officials on how to conduct consultations and surveys and how to prepare the questionnaires and collect responses. These will be interactive workshops with participants drawn from members (Ministries/Agencies) of the National Interest Consideration Team (PKN) Team.
The second workshop of two days will provide training to officials from the MoT and other relevant ministries on the socio-economic impact assessment methodology on how to run and adapt the PE model, interpret the results, and calculate the other components such as the employment, and sector impacts using pilot case data. These will be interactive workshops with participants drawn from members (Ministries/Agencies) of the National Interest Consideration Team (PKN) Team.
The final workshop is a one-day workshop on an online platform for officials from the MoT and other relevant ministries and the business community to discuss and validate a socio-economic assessment methodology policy note. This workshop is targeted at a broader range of stakeholders, such as business associations and business actors.
