Indonesia seeks to achieve a single integrated approach to risk management amongst all border agencies to improve trade facilitation.
In coordination with the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries and the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM), ARISE+ Indonesia is organising two half-day awareness-raising webinars each for the Fish Quarantine Inspection Agency (BKIPM) and the Directorate of Processed Food Distribution Control of BPOM. The training will be delivered remotely and will draw upon the World Customs Organisation (WCO) Risk Management Compendiums 1 & 2.
The objectives of the Risk Management Training Webinars are to:
- Introduce risk management as per WTO TFA Art 7.4
- Assist BKIPM & BPOM to develop and implement risk management
- Raise awareness of risk management practices and procedures
- Share insights, experience and knowledge of current risk management procedures
