Technical Assistance I
ARISE+ Indonesia, under the auspices of the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP), the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, and the Directorate General of National Export Development (DGNED), the Ministry of Trade, continues to support the Geographical Indication Protection Communities (MPIG) in promoting Indonesian Geographical Indications (GIs) in the forthcoming Ubud Food Festival to be held in Bali, 24-26 June 2022. The activity will showcase Indonesian GI products through a culinary presentation in a much more targeted manner and use the event to inform the transition of the new Indonesian GI logo to the audience.
UFF (http://www.ubudfoodfestival.com) is considered the region's most exciting cross-cultural culinary gathering where international foodies and culinary aficionados meet. After two years of Covid-19 hiatus, this year's theme is to celebrate the deliciousness and diversity of Indonesian cuisine, where visitors are invited to taste the creations of the archipelago's most talented chefs. The event will also be the next destination of the Indonesian GI Show 2022. This new IGIS episode will feature a talk show with opinion leaders of the food industry and high level officials.
