Technical Assistance I
Processing with heat is one of the techniques for processing and preserving food. Applying thermal processes in the food industry aims to ensure food safety, increase durability, and increase business competitiveness.
SEAFAST Center-LPPM IPB is a partner school with competence in thermal processing for the food industry and has obtained a license from the Consumer Brands Association (CBA) to provide training in thermal techniques (canning technology) which has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)- USA.
To strengthen the capacity of BBIA (Agro-Industry Center) in thermal food processing, ARISE+ Indonesia, under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry, organised a four-day training, which takes place at the premises of BBIA.
