A webinar on market linkage of traceable Protected Geographical Indications Gayo Arabica Coffee to the EU market. The webinar is hosted by the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP – the Ministry of Law and Human Rights), and the Directorate General for National Export Development (DGNED - the Ministry of Trade).
The objective of the workshop is to work on the development of promotion and advocacy actions for GI products in Europe, especially Gayo Arabica Coffee, with the contribution of the Indonesia Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) and Indonesian Trade Attachés posted in European countries. Gayo Arabica Coffee is the first Indonesian product to have been registered in the EU register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications, and is henceforth known as Kopi Arabika Gayo (PGI).
