27 May - 7 June 2024 - Technical Assistance II
Supported by ARISE+ Indonesia, the Ministry of Investment/BKPM and the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas will conduct a two-week investment visit to Europe. This visit aims to discuss and mobilise the recently launched Attraction Plan for EU Investment in Indonesia. During their time in the Netherlands, Belgium, and France, the delegation will engage with key corporate and institutional investors in the priority sectors outlined in the Plan, discuss implementation activities and approaches with Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) officials in the visited markets, explore key sectoral ecosystems in these countries that have become important hubs of innovation, collaboration, and investment, including outbound FDI, in Indonesia’s priority sectors, and meet with key European Commission Directorates General (DGs) that have an interest in the Investment Attraction Plan and related topics that impact investment, including carbon markets.
16 May 2024 - Technical Assistance II
The Directorate of Trade, Investment, and International Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of National Development Planning/BAPPENAS, supported by ARISE+ Indonesia, organised a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to gather insights from logistics associations and business players. This input will contribute to the study "Formulation of Logistics Cost Calculation Policies at the Meso Level." The study is crucial for developing more effective logistics policies.
8 May 2024 - Technical Assistance II
The Ministry of Trade is organising a workshop on the Framework for Notifying Import Licensing Requirements at the WTO, with support from ARISE+ Indonesia. This workshop, a follow-up to last year's session, aims to provide an overview and discuss the procedural aspects of the WTO’s import licensing requirements. Participants will work in teams to identify import licensing requirements and prepare a notification report for presentation.
7 May 2024 - Technical Assistance II
The Ministry of Trade, in cooperation with ARISE+ Indonesia, is organising a workshop on the Framework to Address Foreign Non-Tariff Barriers (NTBs). This workshop aims to present and discuss the roadmap and strategy developed during the previous workshop in November of last year, which focuses on addressing NTBs in foreign markets. Additionally, the workshop will feature a demonstration of a pilot project that utilises the NTM monitoring system to monitor and address NTBs in a selected market.
